Anyone have a spare human kidney laying around they would like to donate to me. Preferably one that does not make these little guys?

Sarah and Todd said...: Ugh! It sounds like you're not having the best time with your kidneys either! What a small world, though, with Pres. Woods being in your stake. He's been an incredible friend and mentor to Todd. Todd's really trying hard to stir up some awareness and even possible donors for him. Several elders from that mission are getting tested. Todd is too, but he had kidney stones a couple yeas ago and they frown on that. He still thought he'd try because that doesn't automatically prevent you from donating. It's just surprising that so many people have been willing to be a donor- only to find out they are not compatible/able. And he's too old (0ver 60) to have hope in the donor list. They give priority to the young. His kids who would be compatible in every other way also have the same kidney disease he has had all his life. It's just that his kidney (given by his father) is now 90 years old! So it doesn't surprise me that they've started opening it up to stake members to know about! I hope they find someone soon. Dialysis sounds like a DRAG. Hope you feel better soon... is it true what I hear about kidney stones hurting worse than child labor???; November 17, 2009 9:56 AM
